Video Evidence Sheds Light On Executions Near Turkey-Syria Border

October 31, 2019

By Eliot Higgins

On October 12, Hevrin Khalaf was traveling through northeastern Syria in a heavily armored car — three days after Turkey launched an offensive in the region.

Hevrin’s vehicle was fired at and forced to stop. The Kurdish politician was then pulled from her vehicle and killed. On the same day and in the same area, there’s evidence a separate execution was also likely carried out.

Rebels backed by Turkey who were spotted in the area claim they weren’t involved.

But using photos and videos from that area, we can connect a few dots between the two killings — and shed light on who might be behind these attacks.

Turkey has been dealing with cross-border incursions, assassinations, and bombings for decades, with many thousands of victims. That being said, if they want to maintain the moral high ground, they cannot afford to be seen like a thuggish third world state. I hope they find the people responsible for this and bring them to justice.

Turkey has been supporting Daesh and terrorist jihadists since 2011. Turkey is a terrorist nation like Saudi Arabia.

The Turkish government/MIT is already known to carry out extrajudicial killings of suspected terrorists.
Only written authorization from the Turkish Presidency/Recep Tayyip Erdogan is required for a killing.
Oh, and they also force neurotoxin injections on people who discover government secrets. This is called “gerizekali yapma” and done by MIT at public hospitals.

We can thank our stable genius Cadet Bone Spurs for this horror. Bloody Betrayal of stalwart allies against ISIS, thrown to the dogs of Turkish vengeance. Pretty sad comment. Thanks Eliot.

As much as your investigative job is phenomenal the idiosyncratic fixation on Russians is way too much. I am a paranoid follower of injustice but I hate made up ersatz. Christiane Amanpour bring up those executions in her interviews on Turkey / Kurdish situation and confronted Turkeys . All turned up Turkey authorities reluctantly admitted the atrocities.

As much as your investigative job is phenomenal the idiosyncratic fixation on Russians is way too much. I am a paranoid follower of injustice but I hate made up ersatz. Christiane Amanpour bought those executions in her interviews on Turkey / Kurdish situation and confronted Turkeys . The very recent one was aired about one month ago. I might be wrong but I am following her . All turned up Turkey state authorities reluctantly admitted the atrocities. You are well aware how the moderate rebels became the abandoned Kurds .
