Bellingcat researcher Benjamin Strick was able to identify a pro-Indonesian bot-network by noticing how one group of accounts using a specific hashtag only retweeted and responded to each other. Upon closer inspection, it was possible to tell that some of these accounts were inauthentic and acting in a coordinated manner.
