Analysing the Cost of Wagner Revolt

What was the true cost of the June 24 rebellion by the Wagner mercenary group and its chief, Yevgeny Prigozhin?

The answer to that question may not become fully clear for a number of weeks as the political fallout within Russia continues apace.

However, a trail of destruction leading along the M4 highway between Rostov-on-Don and Moscow provides evidence of the immediate cost to Russia’s military and Wagner in the shape of military equipment and service members lost.

Bellingcat and Scripps news analysed social media footage and images that shows roads being dug up to block the path of Wagner troops, at least three aircraft being shot down and an oil refinery being set ablaze.

The results can be seen in the video below.
