Bellingcat Partners with Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice

Bellingcat is honoured to announce that we have partnered with Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, a nonprofit program of the New York City Bar Association that advances global justice by providing high-quality pro bono advice and representation to NGOs and international organisations.

The Vance Center will support Bellingcat’s efforts to establish a presence in the United States to conduct public interest research and publications based on transparent and ethical open-source methodologies. Through its Public Interest Reporting Program, the Vance Center has provided invaluable advice for the creation, governance and compliance of Bellingcat Fund, a 501(c)(3) entity. We are especially grateful to Executive Director Alexander Papachristou for his generous and crucial pro bono counsel on these matters. 

Bellingcat Fund aspires to develop partnerships with local media and universities in the United States to conduct open source research and train others to learn and apply methods of transparent investigations.
