Shalaka Shinde

Shalaka Shinde is an independent data journalist based in New York. She is currently a grantee in the 2024-2025 cohort of the Magic Grant Program at the Brown Institute of Media Innovation, Columbia University. She leads the team that developed Justice Delayed, a database that catalogues criminal court trials in district courts of India.
